Sarah Palin planning to meet Margaret Thatcher

London, Jun 14 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Sarah Palin is planning to travel to the Britain, as she wants to meet Margaret Thatcher, who was the first woman PM of UK. She wants to meet the charismatic Britain woman leader, as she wants to further her chances at the White House, in the upcoming 2012 Presidential elections.
According to reports of the Daily Mail, Sarah Palin’s representatives have approached the former UK PM in order to secure a meeting with her for Sarah Palin. They are touting Sarah Palin as the “heir to Ronald Reagan”. And according to reports the hardcore ‘Iron Lady’ has given her consent to the appointment to meet Sarah Palin. It ought to be mentioned that Sarah Palin was unsuccessful as the Vice-Presidential candidate in the 2008 elections.
A spokesman for Margaret Thatcher said that, “We had an informal approach asking if Lady Thatcher would meet Mrs Palin if she comes to Britain and we said ‘yes’.” According to another source, “A meeting with Margaret Thatcher would be an enormous publicity coup for Sarah Palin. Thatcher is by far the biggest political name in UK politics.”
There are also reports that Sarah Palin is not very interested in meeting the current PM of Britain – David Cameron, rather she wants to meet the former woman PM, who is an icon for all the woman politicians.
