Sarah Palin Mocks First Lady Michelle Obama’s “Let’s Move” Campaign Over S’mores

Sarah PalinDec 21, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Former Governor of Alaska, Sarah Palin aimed and took a shot at America’s First Lady Michelle Obama during her show “Sarah Palin’s Alaska”. The episode was aired on Sunday and the audience saw Sarah Palin mocking Michelle Obama’s anti-obesity campaign “Let’s Move”. On Sunday’s episode, the former Alaskan Governor tried dog racing, white water rafting, dirt bike racing and she also attempted the job of a waitress. However, the audience was shocked to see the Tea-Party favorite willingly picking up a fight with U.S. First Lady Michelle Obama over desserts.

On “Sarah Palin’s Alaska”, the audience saw the former Governor searching S’Mores ingredients in her kitchen. While searching for marshmallows, graham crackers and chocolates, Sarah Palin tells her son Trigg that she is honoring First Lady Michelle Obama by searching for these dessert ingredients. The former Governor stressed on the fact that U.S. First Lady thinks that people should not eat desserts as it consists calorie. However, it was easy for the audience to understand that Sarah Palin is actually mocking First Lady Michelle Obama’s “Let’s Move” campaign, which fights against childhood obesity as it focuses on exercise and eating habits.

Michelle Obama, in one of her previous speeches said that she feels that dessert is not good for health and she even says this to her children as well. The First Lady insisted on the fact that her family always eats vegetables in their meals. Sarah Palin previously criticized Michelle Obama’s speech in July by stating that the First Lady is trying to portray that parents cannot take decision of their own children and also their eating habits. However, the White House officials refused to say anything about Sarah Palin’s comment on “Sarah Palin’s Alaska”.
