pailn Alaska, Jun 21 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The former Alaskan governor Sarah Palin doesn’t think that addiction to marijuana is a big problem. She recently appeared on the Fox Business Network and there is voiced her views regarding the issue.

She thinks that smoking recreational pot is a non-issue, as there are other major problems on which the nation ought to focus. The former Vice Presidential candidate said that there are other major issues on which the country should have a hard stand and some action plan, instead of the petty issue of smoking recreational pot.

Sarah Palin said that, “We should prioritize the efforts of our law enforcement. If someone is smoking in a corner of his house without harming anyone then the cops should try to concentrate on other major problems in the society.”

However all the same she is not in favor of legalizing marijuana. She thinks that if pot were legalized, then the youth in the country would think that it is perfectly fine to smoke pot and they might even get addicted to it.

However Sarah Palin’s stand on the issue doesn’t surprise many people. The director of NORML – Allen St. Pierre said that Sarah Palin is a politician and her liberal approach on the issue gels with her position as a politician.
