Sep 12 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Sarah Palin and Glenn Beck appeared an event at the Dena’ina Civic and Convention Center on Saturday.
Sarah Palin who was not on the invited speakers list made it to the show and ended up introducing Beck. Though Beck announced that he was not going to be a candidate at 2012, Sarah Palin did not make a similar pronouncement fueling speculations that the former governor of Alaska will run in 2012.
Beck, who is a famous Fox News Chanel personality, is also a strong critic of President Barack Obama. Beck recently called Barack Obama a racist and his recent rally on the anniversary of Martin Luther King Jr.’s famous ‘I have a dream’ speech got several people criticizing him for polarizing America. Sarah Palin was also present at that rally.
The two who are both tea party supporters, took turns to explain what they were doing on September 11 2001 when America was attacked. Beck spoke about the 9/11 attacks and said that, “I fear that we are forgetting what it takes. How do we not make the same mistake again?”
Fans who attended the show had to cough up at least $73.75 or as much as $225.
Just outside where the event was taking place, some 60 people were protesting. Among them was Brian MacMillan of Anchorage who said Beck and Palin were criticizing Obama unfairly.
