Feb 25, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Meghan Stapleton; aide to former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin has resigned from her office. She has served as the senior adviser and spokeswoman for Sarah Palin since December 2006. Meghan Stapleton stated that her the reason for her resignation is her family with whom she intends to spend more time.

As she likes to put forward things, her “precious miracle” 2 year old daughter Isabella would now enjoy her mama’s full company at home. It seems that Sarah Palin’s aide will now be shifting her focus to family, from government matters. She laments to have missed many a important occasions where she feels she should have been at the side of her daughter and her husband. Her resignation shall therefore give her full scope and abundant time to rectify the shortcomings and live happily.

Meghan Stapleton stated that Sarah Palin wasn’t surprised about her decision as she was already aware of her state of affairs. The two had been discussing Meghan Stapleton’s decision of resigning from her post for quite some time now. She has been Sarah Palin’s most trusted aide of all and been a constant mode of support and guidance for the former Alaska governor. She had been a witness through the major periods of changing facets of the former governor’s life; from governor, to author, to Fox News contributor and to the tea party movement. Meghan Stapleton had acted as the strategic adviser and inarguably the backbone of Sarah Palin’s official matters. She has been talking to Sarah Palin considering her resignation which finally gained grounds on Wednesday, which also happened to be Meghan Stapleton’s birthday.
