Washington DC, Nov 16 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin has accused AP of indulging in ‘opposition research’ in fact-checking her memoir ‘Going Rogue’ which is due to be released very shortly. .
”Amazingly, but not surprisingly, the AP somehow nabbed a copy of the book before it was released,” Palin wrote on her Facebook page. “They’re now erroneously reporting on the book’s contents and are repeating many of the same things they spewed during the campaign and afterwards.”
Sarah Palin was very critical when she said that 11 reporters associated with AP are right now engrossed full time in tearing up the book and checking and re-checking each and every fact, aspect and story of that book. She thought that they could spend their time better in “fact check” what’s going on with Sheik Mohammed’s trial, Pelosi’s health care takeover costs, Hassan’s associations, etc.
Here is an example of the ‘fact-checking’ by AP and supposedly glorified fact by Sarah Palin in her memoir ‘Going Rogue’:
PALIN: Rails against taxpayer-financed bailouts, which she attributes to Obama. She recounts telling daughter Bristol that to succeed in business, “you’ll have to be brave enough to fail.”
THE FACTS: Palin is blurring the lines between Obama’s stimulus plan - a $787 billion package of tax cuts, state aid, social programs and government contracts - and the federal bailout that Republican presidential candidate John McCain voted for and President George W. Bush signed.
PALIN: Describing her resistance to federal stimulus money, Palin describes Alaska as a practical, libertarian haven of independent Americans who don’t want “help” from government busybodies.
THE FACTS: Alaska is also one of the states most dependent on federal subsidies, receiving much more assistance from Washington than it pays in federal taxes. A study for the nonpartisan Tax Foundation found that in 2005, the state received $1.84 for every dollar it sent to Washington.
PALIN: Says she tried to talk about national security and energy independence in her interview with Vogue magazine but the interviewer wanted her to pivot from hydropower to high fashion.
THE FACTS are somewhat in dispute. Vogue contributing editor Rebecca Johnson said Palin did not go on about hydropower. “She just kept talking about drilling for oil.”

Reality has a well known liberal bias.
It’s disgraceful how the MSM quote her word for word, and in context too, it makes her sound like a fool.
