joseph Boston, Mar 2 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Joseph P. Kennedy III who is the grandson of RFK, said on Sunday that he doesn’t want to run for the US House from Massachusetts this year. He is also the son of the former congressman Rep. Joseph P. Kennedy II. Presently Joseph P. Kennedy III wants to continue as the prosecutor in Cape Cod’s Barnstable County. “I’ve got a job I love being an assistant district attorney on the Cape, and I want to get better at it at this point. I know serving in Congress would be a great job, but I’ve got a great job,” said Joseph P. Kennedy III.

Since 1946, a family member of the Kennedy clan has served in the Washington. President John F. Kennedy started the trend when he won the US House seat. When John F. Kennedy was elected as the President, then Edward Kennedy got the seat back in the family stable, when he won the seat in 1962. Then Joseph P. Kennedy II held the seat from 1987 to 1999.
