Report: Obama chooses Dr. Regina Benjamin for surgeon general

Minutes after the report from the Associated Press, the White House changed the president’s press schedule to say Obama will make an announcement about the Surgeon General at 11.40 a.m. EDT. The President will make the announcement from the Rose Garden.
