Rep. Patrick Kennedy had 6 vodka shots in a bar and he wanted more

Washington DC, May 2 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Rep. Patrick Kennedy downed 6 vodka shots at the Capital Lounge. When he entered the bar with his friends, then he was already drunk. He straightaway went for vodka shots and downed 6 in a row. He wanted more, but the bar refused to serve him any more.
The son of the late Ted Kennedy had taken part in a charity event in the day, and there he had also talked about his substance abuse history. Later at the Capitol Lounge, he said that the current President of the United States – Barack Obama was the ‘best President ever’. During the start of the drinking session, his friends accompanied him, but they stopped taking shots after some time. But Patrick carried on and after his 6th shot, he ordered more, but the bartender refused to serve him.
Patrick Kennedy has been in the limelight, but sadly for all the wrong reasons. Political analysts say that he is treading the wrong path and such drinking binges could be dangerous to his health and political career as well.
He has even been to rehab in the past and he said that, “I have always said that recovery is a life-long process and that I will do whatever it takes to preserve my health. In consultation with my doctor, I have decided to temporarily step away from my normal routine to ensure that I am being as vigilant as possible in my recovery.”

I’m glad you’ve got the resources to step away while you “vigilantly” recover. Some of us aren’t that lucky (or rich). Be aware of your status. When you get back, we’ll be here, still toiling (or maybe dead).

for those of you who are in the right hoiler than thou in the gop JUST REMBER THAT he lost his father, and he has his demens just like all of us do . HIS father wasnt perfect, but of those of you who like to throw rocks at glass houses of teh rich and famous are you ? think about that next time you read mickey steele goes into a strip club preching family values or sharah palin gets pd 100,000 of tax payers money to talk about how to say “you betcha” all the time ! say what you will but remeber this UNLESS yr perfect then shut the f***k up!

Did he not learn anything from the journey of his Mother? There is no room for alcohol, in the life of an alcoholic…no one demonstrated that more clearly than Joan Kennedy. Stop before you totally deep six your life.

Just another drunk kenndy. It would be easier to take them all out and shoot them. then haft to keep hearing about there drunk drug abuseing family.

I just read all the comments . you all may be right … but then if we judge people whther they have money and power,then we should them more harshly ? maybe …. but there is someting you all should rember … look in the mirror of yr self …. and take stock of what you have or dont … at the end of the day… be thankful to god that yr still alive … and living !
