Rep. Patrick Kennedy Goes For Six Vodka Shots!

Washington, May 2, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Representative Patrick Kennedy recently went on a drinking spree and was restricted in the end by a bartender. Reports surfaced that Patrick Kennedy, the son of late Senator Ted Kennedy on Tuesday night went to a DC bar and had six vodka shots before he was denied any more by the Bar. The incident has once again brought Patrick Kennedy to limelight but for a wrong reason. Many are now suspicious that the son of late Ted Kennedy is following a wrong path again.
Patrick Kennedy entered the Capitol Lounge along with some of his friends and was reportedly in a high spirit. He had on that day attended a charity event where he had also discussed his previous substance abuse. Reports claim that in the Lounge, Patrick Kennedy went down for shots from the beginning. He reportedly praised the present President of United States Barack Obama, saying that the latter is the “best President ever”. However, while he talked he continued to order for some more vodka shots. Sources claim that though at the beginning some of his companions indulged in some shots along with him, they stopped after some time. Patrick Kennedy went for three more shots. A source close to Rep. Patrick Kennedy who was with him revealed to media sources that after serving six shots, the bartender denied to serve any more.
However, this is not the first time that Patrick Kennedy has shot to limelight for a wrong reason. He recently came into limelight for his tirade in the House where he castigated the press for its indulgence more in DC scandals than on the Afghanistan war.

What a sad situation. Congressman Kennedy is a bright, articulate and thoughtful young man. He has so much ability and seemingly wants to offer it to the benefit of the US and her citizens. How I wish he were ready to admit and confront his alcoholism and seek treatment for it. The time will come, but I hope it’s not too late. We need Patrick Kennedy now, but we need him sober. I wish the President would facilitate an intervention.

He must have been drunk when he made the statement about obama being the best president ever. Obama is the scariest president ever and is trying to take over the world. He should never have become president because he is NO AMERICAN. He had all the black votes based on the color of his skin and how much he was giving to the blacks and minorities. He needs to be impreached!!! Anyone that would immediately take over his duties would be better than Husseine obama.

It is always sad to hear of someone struggling with overcoming addiction, but gosh, I hope the President has something more appropriate to be doing than facilitating an intervention here as one commenter suggests. I agree intervention is needed, but I am sure Patrick Kennedy has many relatives and friends in a better position to do it. I hope they are doing.

Should an establishment stop someone from ordering too much food? Look people you are all a bunch of hypocrites and probably overweight. @ # 2 response. The information that you provided is baseless and Ignorant. Stop judging a person by his color and judge them on their merits. The President has only been in office a year and three months. What have you done in the last year? Or better yet what have you done in your lifetime? And its impeached not impreached.

What a shock. At lest he wasnt allowed to drive some poor young lady off a bridge and leave her there to die. Of course had he, he wouldnt serve any time for say, vehicular homicide as the rest of us would. Perhaps he might even had become a becacon of “justice” for the Democratic Party… oh, thats been done. Get over it folks. The Kennedys, were launched by Joe, who was the Ameican version of Maual Noriega, as he sold millions in illegal liquer.President Kennedy was the worsst of imorrals, as he even got pooped by the FBI having an affair with a Russian hooker that happened to be a Russian Spy, (history channel) Teddy was a boozing loser that rode the name, and now this guy. Wow…. Some pedigree. Makes me sad to be Irish.

Well person, in the past year, thousands of young men and woman volunteered for the military for their country and many never made it home and many that did came home missing arms or legs or their eyesight all for OUR country, What did you or the president do other than cause a lot of problems in his one year and 3 months…
He never served his country.
As for john kennedy, joe probaby paid the sailor to say john saved his life instead of the story that is written and for ted, anyone of us would be serving life in prison for what hes has done… leaving the scene of an accident, and yet teddy kept running for office and the people of mass kept voting this criminal in…….

If you read to biography of Ted Kennedy’s personal assistant, you would know that this family is a gene pool of trash. Drugs,Alcohol,Food, Women, Men, Power…. Just addicts. Patrick had no parenting growing up and was growing marijuana in washington DC while his Daddy Ted sold and bought cocaine and his mom was so wasted all the time that Ted hid her.
If they were actually intelligent that would have been some salvage worthy point. They are arrogant, patronizing, insecure but narcissistic group of people that have fooled many people long enough. But then, many people liked John Edwards and the Bush’s too but they dont compare to the Kennedy clan especially Ted. Even his father JOe knew this guy was a waste early on. After the killing of the other 2,we were left with Joe’s failure of a son to be elected over and over again. what irony. We did it to ourselves.

It’s not the list of losers who are talked about here that depress me, it’s the lame sleeping public that votes them into office and then does nothing but complain. Obama has a separate agenda and does not represent America albeit he is simply the mouthpiece being manipulated by a covert entity. Kennedy, Nixon, Clinton, Bush, Obama…..their just people not icons, the names change but the selfish motivation remains the same. It amazes me how stupid the voters in Massachucetts are. How in the WORLD did they keep voting for these people? Wow. No wonder Obama is in the White house. So, ANYONE else kills a young lady, leaves her like the coward he was, and does no time? Where wss MADD about that? Teddy was a fat, disgusting sexist pig, and the son of an organized crime figure, all of their money earned illegally in contraband sales, JFK stated to aides that if he didnt have sex with a different woman every day he got migraines…. Seriously? Imagine if Bush had said that, or Reagon drove a 20 year old off a bridge and killed her, left her to SLOWLY die (an hour) to call his press guy, or Ford was a drunk like these guys. I mean is there ONE that has not had a criminal event, an alcohol and drug problme, etc… And some putz on this site writes “we need him”, and “I wish the President would host an intervention”…. wow. Read the book the “Senator” written by one of Tedwards former aids. In it you will see testamony to the fact that the screaming liberal alchoholic daddy, used to sit with his teenage children and smoke weed with them among other things! This guy is a wacko and it’s perfectly obvious everytime he opens his mouth, “Obama, best president ever” what a joke.

Harper, you’re kidding, right? Cut people off for eating too much? Alcohol affects your BEHAVIOR, and therefore, other people. That’s why the law demands that bartenders not serve the intoxicated. BTW this isn’t the bartender’s choice: it’s the law.

@#8 Charles. I think you need to first understand that our Men and Women volunteer their service and time to be in the Armed services and yes I have served our country. Have You? As commander in chief he has recently diverted more troops to a place we should have been in the first place. Our President is cleaning up a mess that was created back in 2001 under George “the war is over” Bush…. I refuse to comment on the rest because your comments are baseless and ignorant.@ # 15…I am not kidding about our country being fat. Talk about behavior issues. Obesity is a HUGE issue we need to discuss. Not some guy that had 6 shots of alcohol. Obese people have more behavior issues than you think or know…. we should make it a law not to eat too much. People would be happier and healthier and our health insurance would be less. Take a look around and you will see more fat people than alcoholics. You see more over weight related medical problems than you would with alcoholism…….take a good look at yourself and the people around you. Put down the cigs and candy and start working out……………

well it appears there are more obest people than drunks. maybe because the drunks are so bad off that they can’t walk. maybe laying in an empty lot or on the street… I have seen more drunks sleeping on the street than fat people… Now,,, how many fat people do you think ran over somebody because they over ate.. I worked at a prison and never saw a overweight person locked up for running over somebody because of overeating but tons of drunks that ran over little kids, and other people… IF you were asking me if I was in the military, yes, I inlisthed for 4 years.. not a lot but more than any freeloader who never contributed anything to my country..your president and some of the kennedies gave nothing to my country but only took what they could get…
you don’t know if I smoke, or eat candy or am fat of skinny or workout… that has nothing to do with drunks who break the law or polititions who find that the law doesn’t pertain to them…Who knows, mabye if the bartender didn’t stop the drinks after 6 shots, he may have killed somebody like his father did… Remember, the LAW is for everybody All citizens and illegals of MY country…
