Washington, March 23, (THAINDIAN NEWS) After a day of speculation, the person has himself come in front. Randy Neugebauer is the Republican Representative who reportedly yelled out “Baby Killer” at Representative Bart Stupak while the latter stood up to give a speech in the House floor. This has led to criticisms from many quarters and particularly from White House that has condemned the act.
On Monday, Randy Neugebauer has reportedly confessed that he indeed yelled out at the last hours of the health care Bill debates at Bart Stupak when he stood to voice his comments. Randy Neugebauer has reportedly apologized for his behavior but maintained that the comment was not directed against Representative Bart Stupak, but against the total health care bill which Bart Stupak went to support at the last minute. He regretted that his statement has been misinterpreted as a comment on a particular Representative. Randy Neugebauer has said that he has voiced the thoughts of thousands of Americans who are against the health care bill. Randy Neugebauer is known for his mild nature and has never been in limelight for any unruly behavior. The Republicans themselves have called Randy Neugebauer’s behavior as uncharacteristic. Meanwhile, the Republican politician has issued an apology to the U.S. House and has supposedly also cleared the matter with Bart Stupak.
Reportedly, Randy Neugebauer has many supporters who feel that the comment that the republican politician made on Sunday was right. There are many anti-abortion supporters who feel that the health care bill will only end up promoting abortion and funding it by the money of the tax payers.
