“Baba is feeling better now and he will be discharged tomorrow. We have asked him to take one day’s rest. We are checking his status every hour,” an official of the Himalayan Hospital here told IANS.
The Haridwar-based Ramdev gave up his fast against corruption and black money following appeals from religious and spiritual leaders, but pledged to continue his campaign.
Ramdev then returned to Haridwar and then moved to Dehradun. Ramdev’s spokesperson S.K. Tijarawala said the yoga guru was “fine” and was taking regular doses of fruit juice.
Ramdev is expected to return to his ashram in Haridwar after discharge.
