Rajasthan voters have taught Modi a lesson: Gujarat Congress

Bharatiya Janata PartyAhmedabad, Dec 8 (IANS) In voting out the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), people of Rajasthan have taught a lesson to Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi who campaigned there extensively, the Gujarat Congress said Monday.”Modi addressed the maximum number of public meetings in Rajasthan. He tried to stir up the issue of terrorism to fool people but his ‘violent model’ failed to enchant the voters,” Gujarat Congress chief spokesperson Arjun Modhwadia told reporters.

According to the results of assembly elections declared Monday, the Congress defeated the BJP in Rajasthan, retained power in Delhi and won in Mizoram. The BJP retained power in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh.
