Rajasthan ministers quit ahead of reshuffle
November 15th, 2011 - 4:32 pm ICT by IANSJaipur, Nov 15 (IANS) All Rajasthan ministers Tuesday submitted their resignations to Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot ahead of a reshuffle.
Cooperative Minister P.L. Meena said the resignations were aimed at giving the chief minister a free hand to form a new cabinet.
“All the ministers have tendered their resignations to the chief minister and have expressed their full confidence in him at a cabinet meeting held here today,” Meena told reporters.
The Gehlot ministry has 12 cabinet and 13 ministers of state.
Gehlot had Monday instructed all ministers to attend the cabinet meeting.
