Rahul interacts with students in Shillong

Shillong, Feb 14 (IANS) Congress general secretary Rahul Gandhi visited this Meghalaya capital Monday to interact with students of the North Eastern Hill University on a range of issues from corruption to price rise and insurgency.Gandhi was here for a session “Rendezvous with Rahul Ji”. He was scheduled to visit Sikkim capital Gangtok earlier in the day for a similar session, but that was cancelled.
G. Krishnan, programme coordinator, said Gandhi interacted with students on issues ranging from corruption to price rise and insurgency.
Print journalists were kept away from the programme due to security reasons. Photo journalists were provided a ten-minute window to take photographs.
