Bhopal, Jan 17 (IANS) Congress general secretary Rahul Gandhi will begin his two-day visit to Madhya Pradesh Monday to promote and revitalise the party’s students’ wing, National Students’ Union of India (NSUI), and youth wing, Youth Congress, in the state.
“Rahul Gandhi’s visit is aimed at promoting greater participation of talented youths in politics and revitalise NSUI and the Youth Congress in the state. He would interact with students of various premier institutions,” Madhya Pradesh Congress president Suresh Pachauri said Sunday.
Gandhi would reach Gwalior Monday and go to Sagar and Jabalpur before reaching Bhopal.
Pachauri said Gandhi will address a meeting at the state Congress headquarters Tuesday and would later proceed to Indore. He will have interactive sessions with the students of MANIT, Bhopal, and will also meet the students of Devi Ahilyabai University, Indore.
