Amethi (Uttar Pradesh), Jan 29 (IANS) Cutting short his two-day visit to his Amethi Lok Sabha constituency, Congress general secretary Rahul Gandhi left for New Delhi Friday noon.
Gandhi, who arrived here Thursday, barely spent a full day here.
While Thursday was spent visiting some of his dream projects whose tardy progress appeared to put him off, Gandhi chose to remain within the confines of the Sanjay Gandhi Hospital’s guest house in Munshi Ganj here Friday.
He met a few Congress activists in the morning after which he drove off to the Fursatganj airstrip from where he took off to New Delhi around noon.
A large contingent of media and TV crews positioned at the main gate of the guest house were left high and dry when his motorcade slipped out of the rear gate.
