President’s poll: BJP core committee to meet Monday

New Delhi, (IANS) The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) core group is scheduled to meet Monday to discuss the presidential election and whether it should pit a candidate of its own, a party leader here said.
The National Democratic Alliance (NDA) meeting Sunday called to discuss the presidential poll remained inconclusive.
“BJP core group is schedule to meet at 9 p.m. today (Monday) at party president Nitin Gadkari’s residence to discuss presidential election,” a BJP leader told IANS.
Senior BJP leader L.K. Advani has been given the responsibility to talk to all stake holders as the NDA also is to call a meeting of its chief ministers in a couple of days.
