President to address nation on Republic Day eve

New Delhi, Jan 24 (IANS) President Pratibha Patil will address the nation Wednesday on the eve of the 63rd Republic Day.
It will be telecast over all channels of Doordarshan in Hindi followed by in English from 7 p.m. onwards, a statement from Rashtrapati Bhavan said Tuesday.
The address will also be aired over all channels of All India Radio (AIR), which will broadcast the regional language versions of the address over its channels at 9.30 p.m.
