President Obama Hands Out Best Wishes And Turkey To The Public

Washington, Nov. 27, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The president of America, Barack Obama had a different breed to thank at the event of Thanksgiving.The President’s family also came out to distribute free turkeys and other gifts to the common people to celebrate the occasion. Obama delivered a moving speech in which he thanked the soldiers who are spending their Thanksgiving and many other occasions in away from their families in some alien, hostile land.
After delivering the conventional best wishes of Thanksgiving, President Obama embarked on expressing his gratitude for the selflessness of the hundreds of soldiers who sacrifice their personal life and well-being to the cause of the country, and to their families that are performing the ritual with an empty seat in their midst. He went on to extend his warmest regards and thankfulness to all those Americans who continue to make life better and easier for the others with a simple yet great act of kindness. He then launched in the equally pressing topic of recession. He described the measures that the government is taking to help the millions undergoing severe economic stress, including the Recovery Act.
The American first family assembled at a food pantry organization tom pass out stuffed turkeys, stuffing and other Thanksgiving delicacies to people. The President himself was present at Martha’s Table, an eatery in downtown Washington, where he indulged in tucking pumpkin pies in the guests bags as he wished them a happy holiday. His wife and his two daughters also stood there stuffing bags with food, vegetables and stuffing to be passed to those waiting in line. The guests also received frozen turkeys.
