President Obama discusses Middle East situation with Canadian PM Harper
June 1st, 2010 - 5:44 am ICT by BNO NewsWASHINGTON D.C. (BNO NEWS) – U.S. President Barack Obama discussed with Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper about the Middle East situation on Monday, the White House announced.
Obama spoke with PM Harper about the current events in the Mideast, including the recent violent situation between Israeli Navy and pro-Palestinian activists. Israel’s Prime Minister Netanyahu canceled his visit to the White House due to the latest events.
Mr. Harper also spoke with the U.S. President regarding the upcoming G-8 and G-20 summits which will be held in Toronto, Canada and expressed his desire to meeting Obama at the fore mentioned summits.
