Washington, March 15, (THAINDIAN NEWS) US President Barack Obama seems to have his hands and brain full of work before the congressional election as it is becoming evident from the President’s wok schedule. The President, who is serving his first tenure and is still new as a President of United States, has many promises to keep. However, the big agendas that he has put forward are finding it hard to get implemented.
President Barack Obama has been stuck with the health care bill for long, as it is facing a strong opposition. The health care Bill is still struck in the congress for a long time now. The congress is to decide the fate of the Bill towards the end of this month. Apart from the health care Bill, the President this year has put at the top of his priority list the Jobs Bill for the citizens of United States. The providing of jobs becomes necessary as the people of America will surely vote for the Democrats if they get the promise. Apart from these two major issues, there are many other issues like immigration issues, the global warming.
According to reports, President Barack Obama is working hard to get things done before the November election. Though the President will not get affected by the election but the congress and the majority will definitely get effected which in turn will matter for the President’s plan and agenda. To keep the windows open for the presidential agendas to work out, the President is putting forward the extra effort.

The President has many promises to keep, as you say, but they are to the corporations that helped to finance his run for the Presidency, and so he has focused almost exclusively on his health care ‘reform’ initiative, which would primarily benefit the big health insurance companies. The Obamacare Bill essentially increases taxes and health fees for the first six years, only then do the actual ‘coverage’ provisions begin to kick in, so obviously this sham agenda does NOTHING to help dig us out of our present fiscal morass. Here in America, we are all pretty frustrated that the Obama Administration does nothing to promote job creation. Obama promised us in January 2010 that he would FINALLY place promotion of job creation as his top priority, rather than paying back his friends, but it is now 2 months later and he still does nothing but talk about his ideas for health care ‘reform’. Obama’s idea of ‘reform’ basically boils down to REQUIRING every American to purchase health insurance from the giant health corporations who have been siphoning off about 35% of our health care budget in ‘administrative fees’ each year. There are no price controls and no promised ‘public option’ to bring down health insurance prices through competition. The Democrats have refused to revoke the antitrust exemption enjoyed by the insurance industry ( Democrat Sen Ben Nelson of Nebraska demanded that as part of the ‘Cornhusker Kickback’ to purchase his support for the bill) and they refuse to include any sort of meaningful tort law reform, because this would offend the Trial Lawyers, another key Obama support group. This is despite Obama’s own references to ‘defensive medicine’ costing billions and billions of dollars on unnecessary tests performed on patients. He feels Doctors should stop all that testing and simply accept the enhanced risk of lawsuits for the good of the country (and the trial lawyers…). The only thing the Obamacare Bill does is to ‘guarantee’ coverage despite preexisting illnesses, but since it doesn’t control prices the insurance company is free to charge you 2-3 times the normal rate, just as they do already for ‘high-risk’ insurance. The only ones who win under Obamacare are the health insurance companies who get 50 million new customers enslaved into being paying subscribers under penalty of Federal arrest and imprisonment.
