The President on Thursday, declared the 10 charities which will receive the money for their charity work. The President of United States has reportedly said that the selected charities do an “extraordinary job” not only in United Sates but also in other nations, to help those in need.

According to the reports, the president provided the maximum share of money to the Fisher House. The Non-Profit organization provides temporary housing to the family of injured soldiers who need special treatment at the medical center. It is known for providing shelter to people in distress while their family member receives treatment. The Fisher House will receive $250,000. The next big share of $200,000 has been allotted for the Clinton-Bush Fund which is helping the earthquake survivors of the recently devastated Haiti.

An amount of $ 125,000 will be received by 6 charities, each for their development and work. The six charities are College Summit, Posse Foundation, United Negro College Fund, the Hispanic Scholarship Fund, the American Indian College Fund and the Appalachian Leadership and Education Foundation. Apart from these organizations, $100,000 will be received by AfriCare. AfriCare is a nonprofit organization which works in Africa.
