PM undergoes check-up, is hale and hearty

New Delhi, Sep 20 (IANS) Prime Minister Manmohan Singh Sunday underwent a routine medical check-up, eight months after his coronary bypass surgery, and doctors said he was hale and hearty.
“Everything is normal,” prime minster’s personal physician K. Srinath Reddy told IANS.
Reddy said Mumbai-based cardiologist Ramakant Panda, who operated upon the prime minister in January, had flown to New Delhi Sunday for Manmohan Singh’s check-up at his 7 Race Course Road residence.
Manmohan Singh, 76, was operated upon at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences Jan 24 to remove five arterial blockages. He was discharged Feb 1.
