PM to make statement in Lok Sabha at 2 p.m.

New Delhi, March 18 (IANS) Prime Minister Manmohan Singh will make a statement in the Lok Sabha at 2 p.m. Friday to clarify the government’s stance on the WikiLeaks disclosure that the Congress had allegedly bought MPs for the 2008 trust vote.
The announcement was made by Parliamentary Affairs Minister P.K. Bansal in the Lok Sabha amid noisy protests by opposition MPs, leading to Speaker Meira Kumar adjourning the house till 2 p.m.
