PM to inaugurate new Tamil Nadu Assembly building

Chennai, Jan 13 (IANS) Prime Minister Manmohan Singh will inaugurate the new building of the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly March 13.
In a letter dated Jan 9 to Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi, the prime minister said his office in consultation with the state government will finalize the details of the function.
Karunanidhi had Dec 30 invited Singh to inaugurate the new Assembly complex in the centre of the city so that the budget session can be held there.
The last session of the assembly at Fort St. George was held Jan 6-11.
