PM to address Punjab rallies on Jan 21

Chandigarh, Jan 12 (IANS) Prime Minister Manmohan Singh will address election rallies at Amritsar and Ludhiana on Jan 21 in support of Congress candidates, state Congress president Amarinder Singh said here Thursday.
Talking to reporters here, Amarinder Singh said that Congress president Sonia Gandhi and party general secretary Rahul Gandhi will also address rallies in the state in the run up to the Jan 30 elections to 117 assembly seats.
Sonia Gandhi will address two rallies at Moga and Kapurthala towns.
Rahul Gandhi will address six rallies in two days.
He said that the exact dates of these rallies were being worked out.
