PM greets nation on Ravidas Jayanti

New Delhi, Feb 6 (IANS) Prime Minister Manmohan Singh Monday greeted the nation on the occasion of Ravidas Jayanti.
In a message, the prime minister said that Guru Ravidas was one of the greatest saints of the Bhakti movement whose teachings focused on equality of mankind and universal brotherhood.
“The ideals of Guru Ravidas to end all discrimination based on caste, colour and creed are a source of inspiration for us to create a just and humane society,” said the prime minister.
