PM calls on President Patil

New Delhi, June 14 (IANS) Prime Minister Manmohan Singh Monday called on President Pratibha Patil and discussed the internal security situation and other current issues.
The meeting lasted for about 50 minutes, a communique from the Rashtrapati Bhavan said here.
Home Minister P. Chidambaram was also present.
“They discussed the internal security situation and other current issues of national and international importance,” said the statement issued here.
