PM calls on president, briefs on Copenhagen summit

New Delhi, Dec 22 (IANS) Prime Minister Manmohan Singh Tuesday called on President Pratibha Patil to brief her on the discussions at the Copenhagen climate summit.
The meeting between the prime minister and the president lasted for about 40 minutes, according to a Rashtrapati Bhawan statement.
“The prime minister briefed the president about his discussions at the UN Climate Summit in Copenhagen,” it said.
Manmohan Singh also discussed about the just-concluded winter session of the Lok Sabha, as well as issues of national and international importance.
