PM briefs president on budget session

New Delhi, May 10 (IANS) Prime Minister Manmohan Singh Saturday called on President Pratibha Patil to brief her on the just concluded budget session of parliament. “They discussed the budget session and various issues of national and international importance. The president also briefed the prime minister about her recent visit to Brazil, Mexico and Chile,” said a communique from the Rashtrapati Bhawan.
A source said the meeting lasted about 45 minutes.
