Bangkok (PRD), The Prime Minister and Interior Minister, Gen. Surayud Chulanont, says the interim government will not interfere with politics but will make sure that the general election on December 23rd is free and fair.
Gen. Surayud also says he has yet been reported that the Council for National Security (CNS) sent a letter to the Election Commission (EC), requesting EC to revise results of the investigation of confidential documents. He says he has yet discussed the matter with the Deputy Prime Minister overseeing security, Gen. Sonthi Boonyaratglin, who is reportedly involved in the documents.
The Prime Minister affirms he will wait for the EC’s final verdict on the case before taking actions against Gen. Sonthi.
