Overseas Friends of BJP to hold training camp in US

New Delhi, Nov 12, 2011 (IANS) The Overseas Friends of Bharatiya Janata Party (OFBJP) will hold a workers’ training camp Sunday in New Jersey in the US which will focus on the party’s political journey as well as the current political situation in India.
According to a statement issued by OFBJP convener Vijay Jolly, the camp will be inaugurated by Vinay Sahasrabudhe, political advisor to BJP president Nitin Gadkari.
Jolly said “first of its kind” workers training camp abroad will be followed by another such event at Houston Nov 20.
Adapa Prasad, OFBJP’s US president, will preside over the programmes.
Jolly said the camps will have talks on the progressive journey of BJP from days of the Jan Sangh, its ideological moorings, contribution of leaders, responsibilities of workers and the current political situation in India.
