Over 50 percent Russians trust Putin, Medvedev
February 19th, 2011 - 7:57 pm ICT by IANSMoscow, Feb 19 (IANS/RIA Novosti) Over half of the people in Russia trust their president, Dmitry Medvedev, as well as Prime Minister Vladimir Putin, according to a poll released Saturday.The survey by the Public Opinion Foundation (FOM) said 51 percent of the respondents believe in Medvedev while 58 percent have faith in Putin.
The poll also showed 47 percent of the polled believe in the ruling United Russian Party.
The opinion poll was held Feb 12-13, with 3,000 respondents.
