Bush’s presidency. The center announced the project on Thursday, which will also be corroborated by the George W. Bush Foundation too.
To document the oral history, around 100 interviews are planned, with the key figures of the Bush White House and Cabinet, members of Congress, foreign leaders and outside political advisers, so that the oral history can be well documented.
Bush says that, “the project will offer a comprehensive look at what it was like to lead the country during what he described as extraordinary challenges”.
The center’s Presidential Oral History Program has already conducted similar projects on other ex-presidents too, like Jimmy Carter, Ronald Reagan, George H.W. Bush and Bill Clinton.
