Washington DC, Oct 24 (THAINDIAN NEWS) A family portrait of the Obamas has been released by the White House on its official Flickr account.The photo which shows all of them smiling was taken by celebrity photographer Annie Leibovitz.

The celebrity photographer Annie has followed President Obama and his family closely this year. Back in January, prior to taking oath as the President, she shot a portfolio for Vanity Fair.

And earlier this year, Michelle’s photograph graced the cover of Vogue’s March issue.

Barack Hussein Obama was born August 4, 1961, is the 44th and current President of the United States. He is the first African American to hold the office, as well as the first born in Hawaii. Obama is a graduate of Columbia University and Harvard Law School, where he was the president of the Harvard Law Review.

The US president Barack Obama was in the news recently for winning the Nobel Peace Prize 2009 for his work in giving the world citizens a hope for the better future. He won for its humanitarian efforts in improving the quality of life for all the citizens of the world.
