Mumbai gets new municipal commissioner
January 3rd, 2011 - 5:46 pm ICT by IANSMumbai, Jan 3 (IANS) Senior IAS officer Subodh Kumar was Monday appointed the new Municipal Commissioner of Mumbai.Subodh Kumar replaces Swadhin Kshatriya who was promoted as a principal secretary in the Mantralaya, the state government headquarters, an official here said.
The developments came after Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan met Governor K. Sankaranarayanan Monday afternoon.
Kshatriya served as the Mumbai municipal commissioner for 13 months.
