Motilal Vora hoists flag at Congress office

New Delhi, Aug 15 (IANS) Veteran Congress leader Motilal Vora Monday hoisted the national flag at the party office here, a task usually performed by party president Sonia Gandhi, who has gone abroad for treatment.
Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Congress general secretary Rahul Gandhi were also present at the Congress office. However, the honours of unfurling the flag on Independence Day went to Vora as he is most senior party functionary.
