New York, May 27 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Former governor of Massachusetts Mitt Romney is also set to announce his Presidential bid for 2012 soon. There are reports that he is going to make a formal announcement on the 2nd of June in New Hampshire, according to his spokesperson Andrea Saul.

His other competitors in the Presidential elections comprise of Rep. Ron Paul of Texas, former Godfather’s Pizza CEO and radio talk show host Herman Cain, former House Speaker Newt Gingrich and former Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty.

“I think, by far, he’s the most qualified in this race. We’re trying to invite a whole bunch of our friends to come and meet him,” according to Stella Scamman. She had previously spoken in favor of former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani in 2008.

The former governor of Alaska, Sarah Palin is also expected to be in the fray but she hasn’t made her intentions explicitly clear in a formal announcement as yet. Though there are reports that she has recently purchased a mansion in Arizona as she wants to shift base there to fulfill her presidential dream, yet a formal announcement is awaited.
