Mitt Romney is the latest victim of ‘Bad lip reading’
October 19th, 2011 - 12:47 am ICT by Aishwarya BhattWashington, Oct 18 (THAINDIAN NEWS) GOP presidential hopeful Mitt Romney is the latest victim of the group Bad Lip Reading. The group is behind several YouTube videos that twists sentences of famous personalities just for the humor of it.
Some of the group’s past victims include President Barack Obama, Tea Party popular figure Michelle Bachmann and now Romney. The group replaces the words of their victims which in the end, results in them talking thrash.
The brain behind the formation of the group recently sent an anonymous email to Washington Post and explained the reason why they enjoy what they do.
In the email which was published by the newspaper, the creator said that, “I don’t really classify myself as Republican or Democrat. I don’t like labels. That may sound trite or evasive, but I feel like many people look at labels and make a lot of assumptions that may or may not be accurate.”
He explained that he finds it hilarious when he watches the final product and see the political leaders and famous people make funny and hilarious comments. He however said his intention is not to mock the people involved in the video. He defended the comment by saying that he doesn’t comment on the personality of the individual in the final project that is posted on the Internet.
