Washington DC, Apr 28 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Senator John McCain’s daughter Meghan has spoken her mind against the Arizona’s new immigration law, which surprisingly is not in sync with her father’s views. Meghan McCain thinks of herself as a spokesperson for the young Republicans, and she spoke her mind in a column-piece that she wrote for ‘The Daily Beast’. In the article she said that, the new immigration law is “seriously flawed” and “essentially a license to pull someone over for being Hispanic.”

The new law based against the immigrants, as the local police can question any person about their ‘immigration status’, if they even have a tiny suspicion about that person.

“I believe it gives the state police a license to discriminate, and also, in many ways, violates the civil rights of Arizona residents. Simply put, I think it is a bad law that is missing the bigger picture of what is really going on with illegal immigration,” Meghan wrote.

This new law has also resulted in a travel advisory from the Mexican government to all their citizens who are planning to go to Arizona. According to the travel advisory, all the Mexicans in Arizona ought to ‘act carefully’ and responsibly, because the state has recently passed a law through which the local police can determine the status of any Mexican, who they perceive to be an illegal immigrant in the country. So the Mexican government is saying that the Mexicans in Arizona, should always have the proper documentation papers with them too.
