MCD elections: Congress to come up with three manifestos
March 19th, 2012 - 11:14 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, March 19 (IANS) The Delhi Congress will release three election manifestos for the upcoming polls in the trifurcated Municipal Corporation of Delhi.
“We will issue three manifestos for three corporations as every area has different problems,” Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit told reporters after emerging from a cabinet meeting Monday.
“The manifestos will be prepared according to the problems and issues of areas falling under the three corporations,” she told reporters.
Earlier, Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee chief Jai Prakash Agarwal had said the party will release only one manifesto.
The trifurcated MCD is set to go to polls on April 15.
