Helena, Mont., Dec. 05, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Some members of the Democratic Party have faced criticisms for their work and the name of Montana Democrat Max Baucus might get added to that list. Recent news that have surfaced against Senator Max Baucus states that earlier this year, he had nominated his girlfriend, Melodee Hanes for the post of US Attorney. One of his spokesperson has revealed this news to the media and surprised people. However, he insisted that the recommendations were based on the qualities of the candidate and not on his personal relation with the candidate.

The spokesperson of the Senator said that he and Melodee Hanes started an affair in 2008 summer and later recommended her for the post of US Attorney. Melodee Hanes used to work as state office director when they embarked on an extramarital. Though the relation between Senator Max Baucus and Melodee Hanes started as an extramarital affair, sources alleged that they have started to live together since then. The Finance Committee chairman had divorced from his former wife and at present he is living with Melodee Hanes.

Though Melodee Hanes removed her name from the list of nominees for the US Attorney, her relation with the Senator has remained unchanged. Records state that they knew each other for a considerable period of time as they have started to work together from 2003. However, they realized their affection for each other when Melodee Hanes decided to leave the office of Max Baucus. They got intimate after this and Melodee Hanes, who has also divorced from her husband, is happily living with Senator Max Baucus in Washington.
