Mamata pays surprise visit to hospital

Kolkata, May 27 (IANS) West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee Friday made an unannounced visit to the state-run Sambhunath Pandit Hospital here and interacted with the doctors and the patients.
“Yes, the chief minister paid a surprise visit to the hospital today (Friday),” said the hospital’s superintendent.
Earlier this week, Banerjee visited super-specialty hospitals S.S.K.M. hospital and Bangur Institute of Neurosciences (BIN).
Banerjee suspended BIN director Shyamapada Ghorai for alleged misconduct and insubordination.
