New Delhi, Dec 2 (IANS) Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha Sushma Swaraj of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) said Thursday that Delhi should be made safe for women.
She was reacting to the arrest of two men by Delhi Police for raping a 30-year-old BPO employee after abducting her from Dhaula Kuan Nov 23.
“I am happy to hear about (the) arrest of the culprits in the Delhi rape case. They should be tried by a fast track court. The government should make Delhi safe for women,” she tweeted on the social networking site Twitter.
