Madhya Pradesh raises nursing staffs’ retirement age
October 23rd, 2009 - 11:42 pm ICT by IANS ( Leave a comment )Bhopal, Oct 23 (IANS) The Madhya Pradesh government Friday raised the retirement age of nursing employees in the state to 65 years from the present 60 years, an official said.
“A cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan here decided to raise the retirement age of nursing employees/officers working under public health and family welfare department from 60 to 65 years”, Madhya Pradesh Industries Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya told reporters.
The cabinet has also sanctioned 744 posts of assistant teacher for education guarantee schools, the minister said.
He said the cabinet also decided to increase the capacity of Bharat Oman Refineries Limited’s Crude Oil Refinery to 9-12 million tonnes per annum to ensure ample availability of low-aromatic naphtha.
Besides, the cabinet wound up 25 divisions/sub-divisions of the public works department with immediate effect and decided to accommodate the staff elsewhere.
