Madhya Pradesh minister injured in accident
February 12th, 2010 - 4:25 pm ICT by IANSBhopal, Feb 12 (IANS) Madhya Pradesh Culture and Public Relations Minister Laxmikant Sharma was injured when the car in which he was travelling from Bhopal to Ujjain hit a stationary truck in Dewas district Friday, police said.
The minister, who has broken a leg, and four other injured people have been admitted at the CHL Apollo Hospital at Indore.
The condition of the injured was stable, doctors said.
The incident took place at Bangad village, 160 km from here, when the minister was on his way to Ujjain to pray at the Mahakaleshwar temple on the occasion of Mahashivratri.
The others injured in the accident were Sharma’s bodyguard, driver and two relatives.
