Madhya Pradesh assembly adjourned after tributes to leaders

Bhopal, Nov 16 (IANS) The Madhya Pradesh assembly was adjourned for the day Monday after its members paid tributes to noted journalist Prabhash Joshi and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Pyarelal Khandelwal among others on the first day of the winter session.
Besides Joshi and Khandelwal, the house also paid tributes to late union ministers Sher Singh and Rao Virendra Singh, late MP Kalicharan Sharma, late legislators Shiv Prasad Sharma, Shobharam Patel, Gyanendra Singh, Phool Chandra, Tara Singh Biyogi, Kachrulal Jain and Chetan Singh.
Assembly Speaker Ishwardas Rohani mentioned the contribution of the late leaders and paid tributes to them on behalf of the house. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Leader of the Opposition Jamuna Devi and other leaders also spoke about the late leaders’ contributions.
