Lok Sabha to discuss Liberhan report Dec 9-10

New Delhi, Dec 2 (IANS) The Liberhan Commission report on the 1992 Babri mosque demolition will be discussed in the Lok Sabha Dec 9 and 10, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Sushma Swaraj said Wednesday.
She said the the decision was taken at the business advisory committee of the house and added that the government had indicated that copies of the report in Hindi will be made available by Thursday.
The Samajwadi Party had insisted on having copies of the report in Hindi before the discussion.
The Liberhan panel report, which was tabled in parliament Tuesday, has indicted members of the Sangh Parivar for demolition of the 16th century mosque in Ayodhya. The vandalism and destruction triggered communal riots across the country.
Swaraj then said the Lok Sabha would discuss the issue of climate change Dec 3 and Maoist violence would be the subject Dec 7. The issue related to Sri Lankan Tamils would be raised through a calling attention motion Dec 4 and Dec 8 has been reserved for government business, the BJP leader said.
The House would discuss India-China relations before Dec 18, she added.
