Learn 36 patriotic songs, Chinese city residents told
April 21st, 2011 - 4:36 pm ICT by IANSBeijing, April 21 (IANS) Residents of China’s Chongqing city have been told to learn and sing 36 patriotic songs.
The songs have to be learnt as part of a campaign ahead of the 90th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China (CPC), China Daily quoted The Chongqing Daily as reporting.
The 36 “fresh and excellent” songs will be repeatedly played on radio and TV.
The songs include “Fluttering Flag”, “Long Live the Motherland”, and “Come on China”.
